Brothers Tailors in Phoenix is a true gem. This family-owned business has been serving the community for over 30 years, and their professionalism and craftsmanship really stand out. Jen, the manager, is fantastic, and owners Gus and Margarita have created something very special. Everyone is thorough, kind, and takes great pride in their work. We needed a garment altered quickly before traveling for a loved one's funeral, and they went out of their way to help us without sacrificing quality. We are so grateful for their kindness and outstanding service. We Highly recommend them!

Brothers Tailors is one of the finest high-end men's clothiers, and master tailors, in town, if not the entire Valley. Gus and his team know their fabrics, mills and upscale brands (think Zegna and other master textile makers). Their suits, sport coats, shirts, ties and pocket squares are especially beautiful. Purchased suits for my son's wedding. Gus is great to work with. He got us all fitted and everyone looked great. I returned last week to have adjustments made as I've lost weight and Gus took care of the changes on the spot. I will definitely use them again.

A friend recommended Brothers Tailors when I asked for a recommendation on a place to take my 13 year old son to find a suit. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and Vicki helped us with figuring out his size... We ended up having to order as they didn't have the correct size in stock, but it arrived within a week... and the price for the quality seemed reasonable. Due to our family's insane schedule, we didn't return to pick it up until a few weeks later. We went back on a Tuesday and Margarita helped us out. The suit fit perfectly! No alterations needed! She steamed it for us and we went on our way. It was a pleasure doing business with Brothers Tailors and we will absolutely return. I'm just happy that my son has a suit to wear now -- at least until his next growth spurt! Note: they BT offers plenty of shirts, ties, and suit options for men, but just the basic suits for youth... we had to find a shirt elsewhere. Not a problem, just worth sharing. I'm sure that my husband, brother, and/or father-in-law will head here for future suit and tailoring needs and recommend it to all!

As an elderly guy I like to dress smartly. All my life I've had trouble with off the rack clothing fitting properly the alteration always were expensive the results have been marginally acceptable. Therefore, I decided to bite the bullet and go for a BeSpoke three piece suit. Gus and I immediately did well together. The fittings were an amazing experience, along with fabric and color selection. Peter made a couple of shirts for me and Wow! I could not be more pleased . I will be going back for another suit, sports coats and shirts. Yes there is expense $$$$ but for me it is well worth it.

Wow... That is just all I have to say with the service and workers there. I took three items to be altered. Gave them an idea of what I wanted and and they knocked It out the park. Couldn't be more happy with everything from this location. Super professional, super classy, super friendly. I will go back! Well done!

Gus was the best! He made my son a custom tux for his wedding. He did a phenomenal job. He also tailored and fitted the rest of the wedding party. They all received personalized service from Gus. Gus and team are incredible! I drive from Tucson to work with them. They take the time to work through their amazing selection of fabrics and accessories. All other tailors I have used for custom clothing have had a challenge fitting me. Gus makes it feel effortless. He has even turned around alterations for me same day. I'm very particular about my clothes and a friend recommended I try this tailor. After having my clothes tailor made in Chicago NYC, St Louis and Toronto I can tell you that Gus, his wife Margerita, son Peter and sister Vicky are the real deal I'll put their Tailor-made clothes up to any competitor in the country and Canada. Believe me I've had my suits, sport coats, slacks and dress shirts made my whole life and I know quality and talent and these folks have all of it. Plus, they are conveniently located in the shopping center on the north east corner of Thunderbird and Tatum.

They did a great job with alterations on a few of my suits. The service is always excellent. Gus always does a great job. Next time I get a custom suit made I'm coming here! Highly recommend.

We have been going to this business for ten years. They do great work, charge a fair price for their service, are always on time, and are always friendly. I'm always happy with every alteration.

I needed a quick fix for 2 duvet covers. Although this is a tailor shop, I called 3 alteration businesses. They told me on the phone that they could have it done on Monday morning if I dropped it off Sat. It was the fastest service of the three. The seamstress Lain was efficient and friendly.

I found Brothers through a friend! I needed a bridesmaids dress altered and had not yet used a tailor in the Valley! This is a custom suit shop and tailor! They have every color tie, jacket style and color and everything to go with it! They have 2 small changing rooms at the front of the store for all guests. I will say that if you are uncomfortable having your clothes pinned for alteration in front of a store full of men and boys I would not suggest this tailor. My dress fit perfectly and was exactly the way the tailor and I discussed. I appreciate their attention to detail and their friendly service! I would absolutely recommend them to others in the Valley!

I really needed a suit for an interview. I absolutely could not believe they had one that fit exactly! I was so impressed! It wasn't inexpensive, but it was what I needed. They have lesser expensive options I will take advantage of in the future. I got the job! I returned to get a belt that matched my shoes, and again, they had what I needed. They hooked me up with what they could to help me out and are extremely nice people. Thank you so much!

Even though I didn't walk in for a bespoke suit, I was still treated with impeccable service & respect. Diego fitted me for last minute alterations to create a slimmer silhouette before flying out of state for a life changing interview. I recently took a couple of suits and some pants in for alterations. A mistake was made and a suit was damaged. Without any discussion they took complete responsibility and made me whole for the cost of the suit. Companies are often measured by what they do on good days. I value Brothers Tailors for what they did on their worst day. I'll go back there and will be confident of their skill-and their integrity. 5 stars.

Couldn't ask for better hands on customer service and knowledge. A family owned and operated business with owners on site at all times. Gus & Pete make an amazing father/son team and never cease to amaze me with all my custom work. I am a 6ft 250lb muscular build that makes it absolutely impossible to buy not only suits but basically anything off rack. I have now had multiple custom suits and tux's made by these guys and sometimes even in crunched time frame (which I would not recommend as it's stressful on all of us). Each time the finished product is exactly what I'd hoped for and more. I would never trust anyone else in the valley with my tailoring and alterations needs. Look no further.

Came in with my fiancé this morning to find his suit for our wedding. Diego helped us and was not only patient, but provided exceptional advice. He has a kind, pleasant demeanor and was able to gauge my fiancé's comfort level and personal style. We had been to another tailor in town, with a much more limited selection and for a local business the selection at Brothers Tailors is exceptional. They have classic and more on trend looks, and I think we found the perfect look for our spring wedding. Diego took the time to make sure everything from the suit down to the shirt fit perfectly and alterations are being turned around in just a week. We left the store with smiles on our faces and yes, my fiancé and I really high-fived on the way out to the car.

Great service. You dont need to tell them much and they know what youre looking for. They find a way to make you look trimmer and fit just with the cut of cloth. Pretty cool stuff.

Absolute favorite place to look for dress wear. Every thing is reasonably priced and great selection especially for Modern looks. Their alterations department is great for tailoring as well.

I've been going to Brothers Tailors since we moved to the area almost 20 years ago (used to go a lot more often because I used to wear suits for work - kind of miss that!) The service is amazing. I was a little worried this last time we went, because, when we walked in, I didn't see Gus (it's ok, he was in the back - no need to panic). My wife commented to Peter that he must be Gus's son, because a) he was really good and b) he still seemed familiar. Peter broke into a perfect Gus impersonation and we all had a good laugh - Gus came out to check on us about that time. But hey, you probably want to hear about the products they carry as well? Rest assured, they've got great product. Back in my near-daily suit wearing days, one of my customers commented, "You know...that's a really nice suit...doesn't look ostentatious, but you can tell it's nicer than what everyone else wears." As a salesman, that's exactly what I was looking for - doing well, but not so well that customers think they're paying too much! (I didn't even tell him the pricing was pretty much exactly the same as if I'd gone to Men's Wearhouse or The Broadway (remember them?)). So, if you want to buy a suit (or sports coat, or tux, or just nice slacks), and you want a look that people recognize as being a cut above, this is your place. Also, I trust Peter (and Gus) to guide me to what is currently in fashion (Peter told my son to wear his brown shoes with his new grey suit...that just isn't done, in my traditional brain, but he was spot on - brown shoes are the new black, it would appear, based on what all the young gentlemen were wearing at the wedding). They can also help you pick a great ensemble of shirt/tie to go with your suit...I wouldn't have guessed the color of shirt Peter recommended, but paired with the tie, and then put into the full suit suite - wow - I looked like a million bucks (even though I still wore my black shoes with my new blue suit 🙂 - this time). This is also my go to place for alterations, so if you need that, rest assured, you'll be in good hands. So, bottom line, if you need a nice suit/sports coat/slacks, and want to look like you spent twice as much as you spent (while really only spending the same as if you went somewhere else), go see Peter or Gus over at Brothers! They'll take good care of you!

My husband and I have taken a few items here to be altered and each time we're not disappointed. Most recently, I purchased a lace dress/romper which needed to be hemmed. The lace was very detailed and had a scalloped edge at the bottom. During my consultation, the seamstress said she didn't think we could save the scalloped edge because it wouldn't look good seen back on. I was okay with that but knew the dress wouldn't have the same look without it. I needed the dress back the next day for a trip to Vegas. The dress was done on time and the seamstress was able to save the scalloped edge and it looked perfect! Just like how it came when I purchased. I was very impressed! Trust these people, they know what they're doing!

Thank you Brothers Tailors for making my husband look so dapper in his suit on our wedding! He wanted a navy and black suit and Gus and his team found his dream suit at an amazing price. We bought a suit off the rack and then paid to have it altered to fit him perfectly. When we couldn't find the perfect white shirt with the right collar and black buttons, they offered to have us bring in the shirt along with black buttons (I got at Joannes) and sewed them on for free. Thank you Brothers Tailors! We will be coming back to have our everyday pieces tailored as well.

I am a terrible customer, I always come with extensive alterations needed and a very limited timeframe! They are always accommodating and have a very good eye for the right fit and specific alterations needed for my clothing. I sent my sister there to have her wedding dress done by them as well, which was absolutely stunning, and then they altered it a second time 5 years later to fit her again after she had 2 babies for their vow renewal. My brother-in-law also had his entire wedding party (groomsman) suits down there as well, which came out absolutely beautiful and they have all worn for several weddings since then. I have since moved, and even though it is quite a drive from my house now, there is no where else I would go. Absolutely love this place, the staff is remarkable, caring, considerate and takes their time. If you are in need of alterations of any kind, this is the place to go!

They took measurements for another out of town non affiliated tailor making my husband's suit our son's wedding. The did not charge us for the measurements. The suit made by the out of town tailor fits my husband like a glove thanks to their measurements. I came back to have my dress altered. Can't wait to pick it up! I plan to get our son a gift certificate from them for his birthday. They are wonderful!! Thank you

You won't find a better tailor in the valley. The options are endless and you can most certainly update your wardrobe at a very reasonable value. I had never used a tailor before but the process was not intimidating at all. I told Peter what I was looking for, the budget I had to spend and he walked me through several options. Their customer service was top-notch. Peter was patient with me, showed me several options, and provided his advice. The process was not intimidating at all and I walked away with 2 perfect suits. After buying most of my suits and work clothes from Nordstrom or Jos A Bank I FINALLY took the advice of my good friend and clothier/tailor, Peter. I always hesitated coming in because I assumed the price range was out of my budget. Brothers Tailors has so many options: suits off the rack, custom suits, bespoke suits. I got 2 high quality suits altered and out the door for the same price as my Hugo Boss suit from Nordstrom's. Big thanks to Peter and the family at Brothers Tailors, I can't wait to go back for more!

I've never had custom or tailored clothing in my life, so it was with great trepidation I researched the options and came in to Brothers Tailors about 6 months ago. Peter took the time to listen to what I was looking for, explain all the options, and walk me through an order of 4 custom dress shirts. For someone who had seldom paid more than $40 for a shirt, this was a considerable leap, but I wanted to invest in my wardrobe before starting a new job in San Francisco. I'm so glad I did! The shirts are awesome, the fit is perfect, and I'm now a believer; I almost cringe whenever I have to wear my old off the rack shirts. I'm about to place another order with Peter and figured it was about time I write a review, as the shirts are as much a pleasure to wear 6 months later as they were the first time I put them on. Custom is definitely worth the investment, and Brothers Tailors did an amazing job. Thanks Peter!

This place makes the best suit in town. Peter was excellent throughout the process of making my suits and they came out perfect. This is the only place I will get my suits made from now on.

I'm so happy to have found Brothers Tailors! I initially came in because I wanted to freshen up a couple of dress slacks that I've had for a few years. I wanted a cleaner, more trim look to the pants and they did an excellent job bringing them to a "modern fit". Similarly, I have a leather jacket from Italy that I love though it became apparent to me that the sleeves were rather full --- at the time years ago, this was the typical cut. I was concerned about finding a tailor that knew how to properly work with leather and this shop did an excellent job with slimming the sleeves! Mary and Margarita were both very helpful in adjusting my clothing. I'm happy to have found a real go-to tailor that has the skills to work on a variety of clothing!

The color doesn't quite come out in pictures, but I absolutely love my new suit! Peter Zistas at Brothers Tailors nailed the design and fabric choices and master tailor and father...Gus, tightened everything up with the final fitting. I needed a tux for my wedding this past fall and found Brother's Tailors. I was tired of paying $100+ just to rent a suit from other stores. I met Mary and she had me try on a few different options. I told her what I was looking for and she was spot on. She picked out the perfect suit and had it tailored to my specific needs. When I came in to try it on after the tailoring she made sure that everything looked as it should. She is very knowledgeable in men's fashion, she recommended all the accessories that would look best with my tux, as well. Mary is at the top of the field for any kind of men's fashion needs.

My go to dress clothes shop. As a17/37 shirt, I cannot find many shirts off the rack, let alone shirts that are not boxy. For the price I used to pay for a nice shirt plus alterations, I can come here and get a custom shirt made that fits like a glove. Additionally, I have had 2 suits made here and plan on getting a 3rd one in a few weeks. Much like my shirt size, at a 46xl, I cannot find many suits off the rack. Peter has fitted me perfectly. This place has wonderful customer service. I ordered a spare pair of pants for one of my suits and it arrive 6 inches too short. It took a few rounds of alterations, but ultimately we got it right and Peter made up for all the troubles. I do not see myself going to any other tailor in the future.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. Since day 1, they have treated me with the utmost respect, been extremely attentive and accommodative. I continue to enjoy all of my suits and custom shirts to the point that I now refer all of my friends to them (hence the review). They provide suits in every price range and work hard to ensure you look like a million bucks when seen in their tailored garments. Let them make some suggestions....you won't be disappointed

Ive been coming to this place for years for all my alterations and tailoring. I have always been a strange in-between sizing and buying clothing was always difficult. Since I found them, I dont hesitate to buy clothing now because I know that they can size it to my body. All of my formal dresses, jeans and even Halloween costumes get compliments because it all looks like it was made just for me. They are always so knowledgable and kind! Recently I referred my husband for some new suits and he had some custom shirts made instead. He got so many compliments on his shirt at his work function. He must have given the name of his tailor to at least 50 people that night! And he's the one that got to design it! I really feel like they are the best in the business. I will never go anywhere else and I'm pretty sure my husband won't be buying shirts off the rack anymore either!

Peter Zistas is a great guy to know if you want to look a little better and a little different. He takes time to get to know your personal style. He makes things right no matter what it takes and if something is not the very best fit, he WILL NOT PUT YOU IN IT. Glad to find this custom clotherie in Phoenix. Definitely the best in the business.

AMAZING!! My husband has needed new suits for about six months but he hates trying them on. So on his birthday I went in in the morning checked out this establishment, I talked to a woman that helped direct me to what we were looking for. I told her of my husbands concern for trying on and hanging out in stores too long. She assured me that she would take care of us. We came in later that afternoon and it took 20 minutes we had picked out three suits and we were on our way. The price, the service, and the quality were fantastic. I recommend the store to anyone especially those that have loved ones that loath shopping;)

This place is the best! Amazing customer service and excellent selection of threads. I even needed to get a dress tailored for my date the day before and they fixed it right on the spot. Best part.... Wait for it.... They didn't even charge me. I a big city it is rare to find this level of service and care. When it comes to the quality of their workmanship, attention to detail, customer service and the helpfulness of the staff, no other tailor shop comes close. Master Tailor Gus is the undisputed expert in the field of tailoring. No matter the occasion you are dressing for, Gus and his son Peter will make sure you are the best-dressed man at the event. As a tall, slim person, off-the-rack clothing rarely works for me, but Brothers Tailors takes the time to make me look sharp every time. I have become a loyal customer for life, and honestly can't even think of going anywhere else for custom shirts, suits and slacks. Not only do they know their profession very well in terms of getting a great fit, but their knowledge of fashion, fabrics and seasonal trends gives me confidence that I will be prepared for any situation clothing-wise. It is also a great feeling to walk in and know that they will greet me by name, with a smile. This is one of those stores that I love to visit, and always walk out feeling great!!

Excellent selection and prices but more importantly expert workmanship and integrity. I've done business with Gus for years and I was always been more than happy with the results. For my daughters wedding I sent all the boys to buy their tuxes and suits and everything turned out perfect. My daughter-in-law (who lives in Germany) ordered a dress from Saks that needed to be altered in a hurry. The alteration didn't look exactly right so Gus when out of his way to make it right. We ordered another dress expressed shipped overnight and it ended up perfect. Gus took the first dress and told us not to worry as we would get a refund. We did! Gus's pride and professionalism wouldn't let the problem just be our problem. That's who you want to do business with every time - I know I always will.

Wowzers, now this is a spot I could spend all my $. Spend just a few minutes in here and you'll know what I'm talking about. So fresh and so clean doesn't really scratch the surface. I popped in on a whim, cause I'm always in the market for a spiffy new sport coat, and was pleasantly surprised at just what I found myself getting in to. I was immediately greeted by Peter, such a friendly and knowledgeable guy, and he took the time to show me just about everything in the store and without blinking an eye, proceeded to grab every perfectly fitting jacket in the place. They had super affordable and great looking jackets all the way up through custom tailored jackets and suits, and please don't forget the shirts and socks. You'll leave this place looking like a rock star, a movie star, a shining star; no matter who you are, shining bright to see, what you can truly be. These folks have been my tailor in AZ for 20 years at both locations. Solid advice, bar none the best deal in town for custom suits and tailoring. Beautiful hand stitched bespoke suits, shirts etc made exactly the way they do in Italy, Britain etc. Service is friendly and fast. Absolutely the GO-to tailors in Phoenix AZ whether ou need cuffs on trousers or suspender buttons or a complete new look and the handmade suits to match. Thousands of fabrics from modest to the finest on the earth. My highest recommendation!

This is my third or fourth time doing business with Brother's Tailors on Tatum. Our family has purchased three suits here and love all of them. They have a great selection and amazing service. On Thursday, I brought a tux in that needed some alterations for a Saturday event (today). Every other shop I called either couldn't do it or was way more expensive for the work, which Brother's did perfectly, and at a better price. Go see Peter for a new suit!

This place is amazing!! My fiancé was referred to them by a friend. We just went in there two Saturdays ago to get my suit tailored for the wedding and a jacket done for her. The entire process was so quick we both looked at each other like "That's it??". Last Saturday we picked up everything and it all fit perfectly. All of the people there were great and easy to work with. We will definitely will be back with any other tailoring needs/clothing and rave to everyone we know about this place. Great to see that GREAT customer service is not dead!!!

I was very nervous when I first went to Brothers Taylors about a month ago. I have been self employed for over 15 years and it had been my personal goal to never "dress up" as CEO of my business. I met Mary Zarob a few months ago and she convinced me to come in and take a look at their selection and talk to their tailor Gus. I'm happy to say I ended up purchasing a custom blazer, three pairs of custom pants, and 3 custom dress shirts. I feel more confident and i actually enjoy looking good. In addition, dressing the part has opened more doors for me in my business than I could ever imagine. I was very happy with the staff and the professionalism of this company.

I am very happy with Brothers Taylor, and especially the customer service provided by Mary Zarob! It's great having a Taylor that is so 'exacting!' I brought Mary several items, not knowing exactly how and if something could be done to them and Mary offered great suggestions and the Taylors did a great job! Then I suggest you customize those suits, pants, shirts or jackets,...and if you experience the customer service I received with Mary, you'll be motivated enough to write a yelp review!

I always have heard Brothers Tailors was an amazing place to go for clothing and alterations and they were right! I highly recommend Mary Zarob. She has a background in fashion from NYC and help me with many pieces as well as altering many of my existing pieces of clothing. She is patient, has a great eye for fashion and wonderful to work with.

Excellent customer service! We use Peter for all of our custom clothing. He is stylish, and knows how to dress multiple body shapes. I would recommend visiting Peter, he will make you look your very best!

This place is awesome... I started having my lululemon pants and expensive Sky dresses altered here and whether the job is small or large - they take pride in making sure that they do a good job at a fair price. One of the people that I work with comes here all the way from North Scottsdale because they are probably one of the best tailors around town...

I use Brother's Tailors for all of my alterations, but haven't been in for a while since I haven't needed alterations. I bought a suit that I needed to have the pants hemmed that day. When I walked in, they were friendly, happy, and hemmed them while I waited. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. I was so surprised that they could do that so quickly. What a great experience!

This place is awesome. I was a bit skeptical at first. Once I read a couple of reviews, I decided to go in. My first visit was great. I didn't really know what I was looking for, the only thing I was sure about was my budget. I told Peter what that was and he stayed under that dollar amount. The suits came out great and they even added a "double crotch" lining. I had no idea that existed but it will extended the life of my suit pants. A few months later, I was in need of slack on a Saturday afternoon ASAP. I had taken the slacks I purchased here to the dry cleaners. They managed to rip a buckle and did not have them repaired and ready when I came to pick them up that Saturday. I called the store, Peter picked up and he told me to stop by. I 30 minutes to get to the store, hopefully find somethings that would fit, have it hemmed, pay and head back home to get ready. When I got there, Peter had a couple of slacks laid out ready for me to try on. I found the pair I wanted and asked if he could have them ready. He said have a seat and got them ready for me. From the time I walked into the store and out, I was out in 20 minutes or less. I have gone to big department store's like Macy's, Dillard's Nordstrom's and so on. You will not find the level of service and attention to detail at any other place like you would here. As a none believer, I highly recommend this place. You might end up writing your own review after your fist visit. It's worth every dollar.

I have been a customer at Brothers Tailors since they opened many years ago. They are FABULOUS! Many friends & family have switched to this tailor because of the masterful alterations Vickie & Marguerite have done for me. I'm very short & ALWAYS need alterations! These girls work magic. We've also purchased several great men's suits & designer shirts from Gus. Great caring family business that will keep your family looking their best! I would like to share my experience at Brother's Tailors at Tatum and Thunderbird. I appreciate when you enter a business and are greeted with a staff that is ready to help you with your needs. What might seem like just an alterations business is so much more. They have suits for every customer from their advertised 3 suits for $300 to custom made shirts and suits. Their knowledge of how to alter a suit to fit properly makes the end result amazing. If they don't have what you need they will show you other options and will order it for you. I will go to see the team at Brother's Tailors for all my business needs.
